I’m really glad I bought this 7 ton splitter instead of a big 25-35 Ton. It’s extremely easy to move around, starts right up, and splits the biggest logs I have; even those that are 24″ in diameter! Its got a long throw so it will accommodate longer logs plus it runs and runs on just one tank of gas. I can’t think of anything negative to say about it. I would highly recommend this splitter.

I only do a little bit of wood in a years time for our fire pit. Didn’t need the 27 ton so figured I would give this a try. Once I put it together I just stared at it and thought, “Now what am I supposed to do with this little toy looking thing?” Once I fired it up that all went away. This little thing is a beast! Will split anything that I’ve split on a 27 ton in the past. Not as fast as the big boys but not really a problem. Just need to put it up on some blocking so I don’t mess up my back bending down that far.

I got an electric log splitter from a DIFFERENT BRAND because I needed it to be light – I am a woman. It was 100 pounds but it would not split ASH… NO thanks.. so I went to this 7 ton gas – UNREAL how much better this splitter was. I am able to move it in and out of garage with ease – BIG wheels – and it cuts like butter! So happy with my splitter! Cut through everything I put up there

I bought this log splitter for Father’s Day. My hubby needs new glasses so I decided to put it together Once I figured out what parts went where I began. I had a little trouble mounting the engine but used a flashlight and mounted it. The directions are spot on. We haven’t used it yet so I will come back and update. Don’t let the self assembly stop you from purchasing!!!!
